We are not trying to produce personalities. We are helping form servants, leaders, and disciples — grounded in the Gospel and led by the Holy Spirit.
The kind of ministry that lasts is not built on skill or influence. It is built on character formed quietly, over time, in the presence of God.

What the Year Holds

One year of formation.
One-Year Internship
Long enough for real change. Long enough to be stretched, to fail, to grow, and to discover what God has actually put in you.
Pentecostal Theology
Grounded study of Scripture, salvation, the Holy Spirit, the church, and last things — through a Wesleyan-Pentecostal lens.
Practical Ministry Training
You will lead, serve, plan, teach, and pray in real ministry contexts — with real people, in real time.
Mentorship & Discipleship
Monthly reviews with the Lead Pastor. Relationships with ministry leaders. Someone in your corner who tells you the truth.
Preaching Opportunities
You will prepare and deliver sermons — and learn to carry the weight and privilege of handling the Word of God faithfully.
Worship & Outreach
From planning worship sets to leading community outreach. You will learn to serve in every direction of the church.
Altar Ministry
You will learn to stay when it's hard. To pray for people. To trust the Holy Spirit to move through a willing vessel.
Spiritual Formation
Prayer. Fasting. Scripture. Personal devotion. The interior life is not optional — it is the whole point.
Five-Year Roadmap
The program closes with a personal ministry plan — a clear-eyed look at where God is taking you and how to get there faithfully.
The Journey
Twelve months. Four seasons of growth.
Learning to Serve Faithfully
Orientation to the church's mission, vision, and structure. Beginning theological study — Scripture, the nature of God, the person of Christ. Early hands-on involvement before any platform.
Entering the Work
Leading in worship, youth ministry, and outreach. Deepening study of the Holy Spirit, salvation, and the nature of man. A 10-page mid-year reflection on experience, theology, and calling.
Growing in Character and Responsibility
Leading Communion. Serving in children's ministry. Studying the church, eschatology, and angelology. Beginning the capstone project under pastoral mentorship.
Becoming Ready to Be Sent
Executing the capstone project. Delivering a final sermon. Writing and presenting a personal five-year ministry plan. A portfolio review and recommendation letter from church leadership.

Who This Is For
This program requires something of you.
We are not looking for polished credentials or impressive ministry experience. We are looking for people who are genuinely called, spiritually serious, and willing to be formed — even when it costs something.
Spiritual
- A genuine commitment to following Christ — in private, before you ever lead in public.
- Agreement with the mission and core beliefs of Elevated Church.
- Active involvement in the local church body.
- Openness to Pentecostal theology and Spirit-led ministry.
- A servant's heart — the desire to lead by giving, not taking.
Theological
- A foundational understanding of Scripture and Christian doctrine.
- Willingness to engage seriously with theological study.
- Ability to read and wrestle with substantive theological materials.
Personal
- Self-motivated and disciplined — able to manage time and take initiative.
- Open to mentorship, correction, and honest feedback.
- Committed to integrity — in ethics, in finances, in relationships.
- Present and serving at both Sunday morning services.
