Getting here from St. Pete
From downtown St. Petersburg, take I-275 north to exit 26 at 54th Ave N, head west to US-19, and continue north into Pinellas Park. On a Sunday morning the drive is about 15 minutes. From Northeast St. Pete it is closer to 12 minutes by way of Haines Road and US-19, and from Lealman or Meadowlawn it is under ten. Once you reach Pinellas Park you are nearly here: the church is a few blocks from Pinellas Park City Hall and England Brothers Park, just off US-19 near the Shoppes at Park Place.
Why make the drive north
St. Petersburg has no shortage of churches, and many of them are good ones. If you are thinking about the short drive to Elevated, you are probably looking for something specific: worship where the Holy Spirit is welcomed rather than managed, preaching that opens the Bible and applies it to real life, and a congregation large enough to have something for every age but small enough that someone notices when you are missing.
A Pentecostal church with deep roots
Elevated is part of the Church of God (Cleveland, Tennessee), a Pentecostal movement that began in 1886. That heritage shapes how we worship. We pray with expectation, we make room for people to respond to God, and we believe the gifts of the Spirit are still for the church today. It also shapes how we read the Bible: carefully, as the trustworthy word of God that we are meant to live, not just discuss.
What a Sunday looks like
Services run about 75 to 80 minutes, with modern worship, prayer, and a full message from Scripture. There is no dress code, and nobody will single you out as a guest. Choose the 9:00 or 10:45 AM service in English, or the 2:00 PM service in Spanish. If you have children, Elevated Kids serves nursery through 5th grade at both the 9:00 and 10:45 AM services, and check-in opens 30 minutes before each one.
Stay connected between Sundays
Faith grows in more than one hour a week. On Wednesdays at 7:00 PM we gather for a midweek service, and groups and ministries meet throughout the week for students, young adults, families, and anyone who wants to serve.
