Mckenna Cochran

McKenna serves as Elevated Church’s Children’s Director, leading Sunday and Wednesday children’s ministries with a heart to help kids know Jesus, encounter the Holy Spirit, and grow into the calling God has placed on their lives.

She believes there is no “junior Holy Spirit” and that children are not too young to be equipped, filled, and discipled to live out their faith.

McKenna provides leadership and oversight for Elevated’s Sunday Kids Church environments, working to create spaces that are safe, welcoming, age-appropriate, and spiritually engaging for every child and family. She also leads Wednesday night children’s programs, creating opportunities for Bible teaching, worship, discipleship, relationships, and spiritual growth. A meaningful part of her ministry is partnering with parents and supporting them as they disciple their children at home.

Having grown up around ministry, McKenna has been involved in church life from an early age. Born in Livermore, California, she moved to Seminole in 2016 and has been connected to the local community ever since. She previously served as a youth intern and has been serving in children’s ministry for the past eight years. McKenna has been part of the Elevated Church team for five months.

A graduate of Seminole High School, McKenna is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at St. Petersburg College. Outside of ministry and school, she enjoys shopping, traveling, spending time with friends, and simply being around people.
