Eric Shonebarger

Pastor Eric Shonebarger is the Lead Pastor of Elevated Church in Pinellas Park, Florida. His heart for ministry is centered on helping people encounter God, grow in authentic community, and experience real transformation through Jesus.

Known for his grounded, Scripture-centered teaching and Spirit-led approach to ministry, Pastor Eric leads Elevated Church with a deep conviction that the Gospel still changes lives and that the presence of God still matters.

Pastor Eric has served at Elevated Church for more than twenty years and has been the Lead Pastor since 2016. Alongside his wife Jessica and their daughters, Abigail and Madelyn, he has helped cultivate a church culture marked by authenticity, discipleship, prayer, and spiritual formation over performance or platform.

In addition to ministry, Pastor Eric serves as the CEO of a national eCommerce company and has spent much of his professional career leading organizations in technology, operations, and business strategy.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of South Florida, a Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University, and both an MBA and Master of Science in Business Analytics from Indiana University. Pastor Eric is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree at Pentecostal Theological Seminary.

Pastor Eric is an ordained minister in the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) and is passionate about equipping the next generation of leaders, strengthening the local church, and helping people grow deeper in their walk with Christ.

When he is not preaching or leading ministry, you can usually find him spending time with family, studying Scripture, running, or building software and systems that help people grow and connect more intentionally.
