What to Expect On A Sunday

What to Expect On A Sunday

We are excited that you are considering visiting Elevated Church. We know it’s not easy visiting a church for the first time so here’s some information that will help you feel a part of our family!

We have two identical Sunday services. The first service begins at 9AM and the second service begins at 10:45AM. You will want to arrive a little early to get situated. If you have children, consider arriving 15 to 20 minutes before service to enroll your children in our Elevated nursery (Ages 0-2), Elevated Toddler Town (Ages 2-4), or our Elevated Kids (Ages 5-12). In these classrooms, your children will be taught Bible stories, experience God and have a lot of fun in the process. All volunteers in our children’s ministries pass a background check, so you can feel safe trusting your children in their care.

Service will start with the band playing contemporary christian music. After that there will be some quick announcements followed by an offering to help support the ministry. Then the pastor will read a passage from Scripture, explain it’s meaning and apply it to twenty first century life. Expect to be educated, expect to be challenged, and expect to feel the presence of God in the room.

At the end of service, the pastor may invite people to the front who want someone to pray for them. Otherwise he will dismiss the service by 10:15AM for the early service and noon for the second service.

That’s great. How should I dress?

There is no dress code at Elevated Church. You’ll see some people who dress up and others who don’t. Feel free to wear whatever makes you most comfortable.

What are the people like?

We’ve got people from all sorts of backgrounds. You will find the crowd to be diverse and friendly!

I’ve got more questions.
