Doubt

The 1st chapter in the book of James talks about how we as Christ followers are to believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. THat man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord he is a DOUBLE_MINDED man, unstable in all he does.
WOW DOUBT is a big issue..
REAL TALK…. at times I fight WORRY! I try so hard not to worry and to instead trust, but at times I fall flat on my face and worry. I know countless people who wrestly with worry. This worry can often turn into anxiety for me. However the truth is my worry is sign I am douting that the Lord knows what He is doing, or I doubt the end result will inseed be for my good. Worry IS Doubt that the Lord has it all under control.
James gives us a loving reminder that the things hidden away in the inner parts of our minds MATTERS. That is where doubt lays. If I say one think and think another I am DOUBLE MINDED.
I dont know about you but I DONT WANT TO DOUBT and i SURE DONT WANT TO BE DOUBLE MINDED. Double minded people are unstable IN ALL THEY DO.
I cant kid myseld any longer doubt is a huge thing with the purpose to make me look a fool for the Lord. I (we) are called to represent Him better.
Lord Jesus please develop in me Spiritual Patience that I may trust you in all things and never doubt You and where you are leading. Help me sleep soundly despite the storms of life for I dont doubt but rest securely in Your hands even in the fire. Get rid of ANY and ALL double mindedness. Teach me to truly REST in YOU
